Delicious, simple bonbons made with soft dates, creamy peanut butter, and dark chocolate. Perfect as a healthy snack or a festive treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 pcs
    dates
  • 30 g
    dark chocolate (>70% cocoa)
  • 3 tsp
    peanut butter

Instructions

  1. 1Remove the pits from the dates by carefully cutting them open on one side.
  2. 2Fill each date with about one teaspoon of peanut butter. Then gently press them closed again.
  3. 3Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in short intervals in the microwave.
  4. 4Dip the stuffed dates into the melted chocolate until they are completely covered.
  5. 5Place the chocolate-covered dates on a plate or parchment paper and let them set in the refrigerator (about 15–30 minutes).
  6. 6Serve chilled or at room temperature as a delicious snack or dessert.
  7. 7In the mood for a quick snack? Instead of melting the chocolate, you can also stick a piece of chocolate into the open date with peanut butter. That's delicious, too!
